Adventure Smart Towel
100% cotton — no synthetic fibers and no microfibers. The cotton provides a soft, natural feel against the skin, and the texture creates a large surface area that can absorb a lot of water. The towel is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it has been tested and is free of harmful substances.
It is designed to dry significantly faster than a standard cotton towel. Hang it up using the elastic loop so that air can circulate on both sides — allowing it to dry quickly again.
StayFresh is a silver-based antibacterial treatment that inhibits the growth of the bacteria that cause bad odors in textiles. The treatment combats 99.9% of bacterial growth in the fabric, keeping the towel fresh between uses — even when you use it for several days in a row without access to a washing machine.
Yes. The treatment is applied during the actual production of the textile and is documented to be effective for the entire lifespan of the product — it does not wash out and does not need to be refreshed.
There is no hard-and-fast rule, but because the treatment prevents odor-causing bacteria from growing, most people can use the towel for several days in a row without it starting to smell. Wash it when it has become dirty — not just because it has been used.
Wash at 30 °C with similar colors. Avoid fabric softener — it leaves a film on the fibers and reduces absorbency. Avoid tumble drying and avoid bleach. Because you can use 30 degrees instead of 60, you save both water and energy over time.
Choose the small one if you are packing ultralight — hiking, bikepacking, training, and carry-on luggage. Choose the large one if you prioritize comfort: beach, campsite, van life, or family use. Many choose the small one for the trip and the large one for the car or the tent.
Microfiber dries quickly, but often feels rubbery against the skin, absorbs less water at a time, and typically loses its properties after a relatively short period. In addition, synthetic fibers shed microplastics when washed. The Adventure Smart Towel is pure cotton: softer against the skin, has a greater water capacity — and it can be wrung out and used again immediately.

No. The OEKO-TEX® certification means that the textile has been tested for harmful substances, and the cotton is soft against the skin. The treatment is embedded in the fibers and is not released onto the skin.
It is made to last for years rather than being a disposable product. It typically gets softer with use, and the antibacterial effect remains with the product throughout its life.
Copenhagen Towel & Skagen Towel
The same cotton, the same certification, the same antibacterial treatment — the difference is the weave and weight. Copenhagen is light and waffle-woven (honeycomb): it dries quickly and takes up little space. Skagen is plush in an 800-gram quality: thicker, heavier, and more luxurious to wrap yourself in. In short, Copenhagen for quick drying, Skagen for comfort.

No, and that is the whole point. Regular towels get musty because the moisture feeds the bacteria — here, there are no bacteria to feed. Hang the towel spread out rather than folded double, and it will dry the fastest.
